The best performers of the session on the were Inretail Peru (LM:), which rose 2.47% or 0.410 points to trade at 17.010 at the close. Meanwhile, Intergroup (LM:) added 1.71% or 0.550 points to end at 32.700 and Grana Y Monter (LM:) was up 0.98% or 0.020 points to 2.070 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Minera Irl (LM:), which fell 7.00% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.09 at the close. Trevali Mining (LM:) declined 4.55% or 0.040 points to end at 0.840 and Atacocha (LM:) was down 3.57% or 0.010 points to 0.270.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 16 to 7 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atacocha (LM:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.57% or 0.010 to 0.270.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.05% or 1.02 to $ 48.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $ 51.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.61 to trade at $ 1268.71 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2705, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.6762.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 96.91.
